Troubleshooting: Install & Launcher

Most launcher problems can be narrowed down without changing Windows settings:

1. Close Minecraft and the Flarial Launcher completely.
2. Confirm that your Minecraft version is listed on Compatibility.
3. Reopen the official Flarial Launcher and let it check for updates.
4. Open Minecraft and wait for its main menu, then try the launcher’s play/inject action again.
5. Record the exact error message if it still fails.

Avoid downloading replacement launchers or DLLs from mirrors while troubleshooting.

Flarial requires a legitimate Minecraft for Windows installation. Owning only Minecraft Java Edition or a mobile copy does not provide the Windows Bedrock installation the launcher needs.

If Minecraft is installed but not detected, open it normally from the Microsoft Store, Xbox app, or Start menu once. After it reaches the main menu, close it and reopen Flarial. If Minecraft itself cannot launch, repair or reinstall it through Microsoft before troubleshooting Flarial.

Cracked, repackaged, and rehosted Minecraft installations are not supported.

A CDN or download error does not identify one specific cause. Test the connection in this order:

1. Restart the launcher once.
2. Check whether the official website and download page open in your browser.
3. Try a different trusted network, such as your phone’s hotspot.
4. Check whether a school/work filter, firewall, antivirus, or DNS filter is blocking the official launcher or cdn.flarial.xyz.
5. If support asks you to test another DNS resolver or VPN, treat that as a diagnostic step and switch back afterward if it does not help.
6. Save the exact error and launcher logs before contacting support.

Do not substitute files from third-party mirrors when the official CDN is unavailable.

Flarial must explicitly support the Minecraft build you are running. New, preview, and beta builds may not work immediately.

1. Check the supported-version list in the launcher or on Compatibility.
2. Restart the launcher if support for a new version was just announced.
3. Use the launcher’s Versions area to install a version currently marked as supported.
4. If you need a Minecraft feature that requires a newer unsupported build, play without Flarial until support is announced.

Do not disable Windows update services as a routine troubleshooting step. If the version switcher cannot keep the selected version installed, capture the behavior and ask support for current guidance.

A Flarial DLL is a library loaded into Minecraft by the launcher or a compatible injector. It cannot be opened like an installer or normal app.

Use the official launcher for the standard setup. Do not double-click, register, or run copied commands against a DLL. For a manual setup, follow the advanced section in Install & Use.

SmartScreen or antivirus software may warn about an unsigned or newly updated installer, but a warning should not be dismissed based only on the filename.

1. Download the installer again from the official Flarial download page.
2. Compare its SHA-256 value with the current value on Security & Verification.
3. Do not run or restore the file if the hash differs or the download came from a mirror.
4. Report a mismatch or unexpected detection to Flarial before continuing.

Use a clean reinstall only after the simpler checks above. This process keeps the old data recoverable:

1. Close Minecraft and the Flarial Launcher.
2. Rename %localappdata%\Flarial to Flarial-backup.
3. If %appdata%\Flarial exists, rename it to Flarial-backup there as well.
4. Download and install Flarial again from the official website.
5. Test before copying any old config back.
6. If the clean install works, restore only the profiles you need, one at a time.

If the problem continues with fresh folders, keep the backups and report the exact error, Minecraft version, launcher version, and relevant logs.
