Manage Configs

A config stores your enabled modules, module settings, keybinds, favorites, and HUD positions. Keeping separate configs is useful when you want different layouts for different servers or play styles.

Normal current profiles are JSON files. You should not need to edit their contents by hand for everyday use.

Close Minecraft before copying, replacing, or renaming config files.

Use Flarial’s config controls in the in-game menu to create, select, or delete profiles. Make a new profile before experimenting if you want to preserve your current layout.

Avoid deleting a profile in File Explorer while Minecraft is running. Let the client finish saving, close it, and then manage files if the in-game controls cannot complete the task.

Import a current config

1. Download a trusted Flarial config in JSON format.
2. Close Minecraft.
3. Copy the JSON file into the config folder shown above.
4. Reopen Flarial and select the imported profile.

Share a config

Send only the selected profile’s JSON file. Do not send the complete Flarial folder, logs, caches, or unrelated account data.

1. Close Minecraft and the Flarial Launcher.
2. Open the config folder’s parent directory.
3. Copy the Config folder somewhere safe for a backup, or rename it to Config-backup for a temporary reset.
4. Start Flarial and test with the fresh config it creates.
5. If the problem is fixed, restore only the profiles you trust, one at a time.

Renaming the folder is preferable to deleting it because you can restore your settings if the reset does not solve the problem.

Files ending in .flarial belong to an older config format. Do not rename one to .json or mix legacy files into a current profile by hand. Use an official import option when one is available, or ask support to confirm the correct migration path for that file.
