Software licenses.

Some Flarial code is publicly licensed, while Android and other official release builds are closed-source software.

This page explains which Flarial material has a public source license and which material remains proprietary. A license included with a specific public project is always the authoritative version.

Public source code

Flarial’s public Windows client source is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3. Its LICENSE file controls your rights and obligations for that code.

Closed-source software

The Flarial Android app and other closed-source Flarial releases are proprietary software. Downloading or using them does not grant a source-code license or permission to copy, modify, publish, sell, redistribute, or create derivative releases. Exceptions require written permission from Flarial or a right provided by applicable law.

Other public projects and contributions

Check the LICENSE file, file header, or other notice accompanying the exact public project and version you use. Code without an accompanying license is not automatically covered by a license listed elsewhere on this page. Community modules, scripts, and dependencies may have different authors and terms.

Brand and media assets

Open-source software licenses do not automatically license Flarial names, logos, artwork, screenshots, or other brand assets. The media kit provides approved assets and usage notes. Keep marks recognizable and do not use them to imply an endorsement or official relationship that does not exist.

Third-party material

Flarial software may include or depend on third-party libraries, fonts, game assets, or services. Their own notices and license terms continue to apply. Minecraft and related marks belong to Microsoft and Mojang; Flarial is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Questions
